As part of the wider Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting team, you will be part of the driven Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M) Finance Business Reporting Team where we are responsible for managing all client and product reporting for the IB&M business. This will include combining Data Governance, Analytics & Product knowledge to support our stakeholders.
In this role
As an Analytics Manager, you will build items from end to end, including defining requirements, developing integrations and data flows, data modelling, dashboarding and storytelling with data.
You will be developing a strong understanding of the IB&M business, including data flows and the nature of underlying transactions / products. In turn, you will ensure the data streams are properly controlled and linked to other reporting areas, including implementing strong data governance. You will be partnering with the wider the finance team to implement best practice solutions and enhancing the BI skillset.
Your responsibilities will also include
Owning the month end processes that deliver accurate and timely client level data to end users
Understanding the business drivers providing business valued output and analysis
Building the infrastructure required to support dynamic reporting
Developing and maintaining dashboards for use with Finance and across the Group
Developing and improving the format, structure, and content of management information
Providing timely responses to ad-hoc business and IB&M Finance queries
Working closely with system owners to improve delivery of data and system enhancements
Consolidating the monthly customer metrics for the IB&M businesses
We’re interested in hearing from people who have
Proven experience within Banking and Financial Services or accounting firm is highly desirable
Highly proficient skills in SQL, ETL and Visualisation tools such as Tableau
Tertiary qualifications in commerce or other business-related degree will be well regarded
Excellent written and spoken communications skills with strong influencing and interpersonal abilities
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrable experience Enterprise Data Design with the ability to visualise solutions end to end
Proactive and driven self-starter capability who can take a short brief and action it safely
Knowledge and experience with Alteryx or other BI tools
