About the role

Ward clerks provide an integral service for women and their families that attend our antenatal clinic at Box Hill Hospital. If successful you will be responsible for greeting patients and checking them in for their appointments, answering phone calls for women and utilising our patient booking system - iPM for rebooking / changing appointments. Clerks are expected to work with a multidisciplinary team that includes other clerks, midwives, doctors, paediatrics, diabetes educators and endocrinology. 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess: 

• Sound understanding of IT equipment (computers, fax machines, phones etc)
• Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
• A strong commitment to high quality care
• The ability to work as part of a diverse team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.  An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
