AO3 Housing Officer

We are seeking a candidate who can provide excellent customer service and administrative support in a state government department on the Gold Coast. The role will see the successful candidate supporting a busy team with their administrative tasks.
Key Duties:

• Serve as the initial point of contact, addressing inquiries and delivering customer support
• Handle customer responses and communication
• Ensure accurate information is recorded
• Process interview requests and conduct housing assessments
• Administer tenancy arrangements, manage allocations, and address vacancies
• Perform home visits for property inspections as needed
• Monitor and manage outstanding arrears, rent assessments, and refunds
• Provide general administrative support

Key skills/experience required:

• Previous experience as a customer service consultant handling challenging enquiries
• High level of interpersonal and influential communication skills within a client-focussed and legislative environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment,
• Resilience and ability to remain calm in challenging situation

This is an ongoing temporary assignment based in Robina.
