It is a Queensland state government department whose vision is to create a single integrated transport network accessible to all Queenslanders. They are undergoing significant transformation in response to unprecedented growth and emerging demands. Over the next decade, various large infrastructure projects will be delivered.
Your new role
Will be to provide administrative support services for all aspects of the project. Accountabilities will include but is not limited to:
- Word processing, office logistics support, correspondence tracking, file management and electronic mail
- Communicate with various levels of management, the public, senior executives and private organisations
- Carefully analyse enquiries or requests from internal and external stakeholders
- Manage diary requirements of the Discipline Lead
- Schedule, organise and attend meetings, seminars and conferences
- Take notes and prepare minutes for distribution
- Manage travel related requirements including accomodation bookings, car hire, air travel and taxi
- Support HR, Finance and Procurement with their business requirements
- Provide records management support
- Document control
What you'll need to succeed
Tertiary qualifications in anything project or infrastructure related would be highly desirable but not mandatory.
Administration experience
State government experience is highly regarded but not essential.
