The client:
We are currently working with a large QLD State Government Department to recruit multiple A03 Service Officers.
The role:
As a Service Officer, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing and recovering outstanding debts.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Contacting customers to arrange payment plans.
• Investigating delinquent accounts.
• Maintaining accurate records of collections activities.
• Conducting inbound and outbound calls.
• Assisting debtors in resolving debt disputes.
• Organize and manage debtors' instalment payments.
• Register and action correspondences from debtors and stakeholders.
• Assessing debtors' eligibility for enforcement order cancellation.
• Undertake routine audits and quality assurance programs for compliance purposes.

You:
To be successful for this role. You will have:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in a high-pressured environment.
• Experience in a high-volume contact centre
• Experience in a debt collection, recoveries environment, and/or dispute resolution/ negotiation.
• Excellent initiative and a 'can do' attitude.
• Strong computer literacy.
