About the Role: Public Sector People are working with a dynamic government department to recruit a Project Officer who will play a crucial role in coordinating and supporting the Strategic Oversight Office. This is a temporary position with an initial duration, offering a unique opportunity for individuals with strong project and administrative skills. Key Responsibilities: Project and Administrative Support: Provide expert support and advice, coordinating executive-level reports and maintaining record management systems. Initiative and Prioritization: Demonstrate a high level of initiative to resolve issues, manage competing priorities, and deliver workloads on time, either independently or as part of a team. Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, discuss business process requirements, and evaluate current process performance. Quality Assurance: Interpret and monitor correspondence, initiate action where required, and ensure all activities align with departmental policies and procedures.
