Opportunity for an experienced Project Administrator to join the state government!

It is a state emergency service that aims to provide pre-hospital patient care to individuals across Queensland. They have an aim to improve the health, safety and wellbeing of individuals in the Queensland community, and are one of the largest of their service in the world.
Your new role
Is a key member of the project delivery team and will be responsible for undertaking a range of administrative tasks. A large part of this role will be assisting program/ project managers in their day-to-day project management activities. Key responsibilities will include:
- Arrange meetings and workshops
- Distribution of agendas
- Comprehensive minute taking
- Booking and setting up meeting rooms
- Following up on resolutions
- Assist procurement with their quotations, tracking expenditure and goods receipting
- Drafting briefs
- Supporting with purchase orders and purchase requisitions
- Administration of payments
- Data archiving
- Formatting of documents
- Booking equipment, facilities and travel
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in Project Administration/ coordination/ reporting/ support
- High level administrative support capabilities
- Attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality abilities
- Experience working with multidisciplinary project teams
- Competence with electronic and hard copy file management, reporting, scheduling
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
