Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of APAC Graphic Designerwithin our Regional Marketing team. The position is located in Brisbane, Australia.
Purpose:
Consult with local Marketing teams within Asia Pacific to provide Wahl's visual outlook through online and offline platforms across our Professional, Consumer and Pet categories.
Responsibilities:
- Craft and communicate our brand image by creating content for digital and social, as well as print media channels
- Create marketing design templates
- Develop packaging artworks from concept to finished art, from existing families of products to new added ranges
- Create digital mock-ups of products and all the digital assets required, such as product images, lifestyle images, and features images
- Create and manage high level video content for all three categories (Pro, Consumer and Pet) from consultation, brainstorm, production, editing
- Content creation for social media, including static tiles, animated gifs, videos, shorts, and reels
- Design a wide range of digital communication collateral including but not limited to EDMs, newsletters, digital banners, landing pages and more
- Design a wide range of hard copy communication collateral including but not limited to flyers, pamphlets, catalogues, magazines and more
- 3D modelling and rendering on designs for instore displays, events, products and various other materials as required
- Create and finalise designs for expos and shows booths, including but not limited to backdrops, banners, posters and displays.
- Create and finalise designs for in-store POSs, including but not limited to displays, shelf talkers, wobblers, posters, and stickers.
- Take initiative on allocated projects
- Work with Sales, Product and all marketing team members on projects to ensure creation of meaningful material
- Contributes to all campaigns and projects - new and existing
- Maintain electronic document register for all graphic design masters
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Highly experienced within a Graphic Design role or similar
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - with particular skills in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Highly proficient in video production and editing skills (Premiere Pro and After Effects)
- Understanding of lighting and sound in video production
- Proficient in 3D modelling and rendering to realistically portrait conceptual ideas
- Resourceful with an upbeat "can do" positive attitude
- Self-motivated and shows initiative
- Effective time management skills to handle multiples projects simultaneously
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team (proactive and autonomous)
- Creative and able to think outside the box
- Able to take our consumers on a journey through our advertising

- Solid understanding in online copy-writing skills

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:
- Qualifications in Graphic Design or other related field that has transferable experience.
- Certification in Video Content creation and design or equivalent experience
- Certification in 3D modelling or equivalent experience
- Project Management certificate/diploma preferred but not necessary.

Salary range: $75, 000 to $85, 000 per annum.
