AddressCode Four is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graphic Designer to join our dynamic event production team based on the Gold Coast. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our diverse, globally dispersed team, contributing to the overall design and creative direction for several global event brands including Pacific Airshow. This position requires a strong work ethic, dedication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to meet project deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of design and creative projects for multiple global event brands, ensuring they align with the agency's vision and client requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, marketers, and production staff, to understand project goals and deliver exceptional visual solutions.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each event brand's unique style and target audience to create visually appealing and engaging designs.
- Generate original concepts, graphics, and layouts for a variety of marketing collateral, including print materials, digital assets, signage, presentations, merchandise, and promotional items.
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all design deliverables, maintaining brand guidelines and visual standards.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, design software, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance your skills and contribute innovative ideas.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively, and meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Support workload of globally dispersed design team including supporting design projects for Agency clientele.
- Attend events and be on-site when design support is required.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Graphics Designer, preferably in the events or creative industry.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise and diversity of work in graphic design, typography, layout, and branding.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, composition, color theory, and typography.
- Solid knowledge of current design trends, techniques, and best practices.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a global team, maintaining open communication and effectively collaborating with colleagues across different time zones.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Flexibility and willingness to work nights and weekends when required, adapting to the event production industry's fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- A passion for creativity, innovation, and a keen eye for detail.
- Willingness to travel as required.
