Role
Seeking an experienced Applications Manager to assist the Internal Sales Team with managing applications through enquiry, tender, award and delivery.
Review and understanding of client specs and project requirements, creating/modifying technical documentation, managing the tender budget and careful management of all technical and planning aspects of a project are all key tasks for this role.
The role will need to work with the Engineering and Design departments with technical requirements for design purposes, create documents for submission to clients, provide technical support for other parts of the business and ensure that the designed/offered solution meets the customer requirements.
This is a management position and would include a team of talented engineers reporting into the role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and understanding technical and commercial proposals prior to accepting an order.
- Reviewing, creating, modifying technical documentation
- Compiling a complex tender to achieve all requirements of a clients application.
- Utilising project management tools to track a projects progress and budget.
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Automation, Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering (or similar)
- Experience within an applications engineering position.
- Leadership experience is ideal.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability communicate with different stakeholders.
- Technical drawing understanding.
