About the role – 12 month fixed term contract:
The Application Support Analyst will provide operational efficiency of EnergyAustralia’s Applications and the maintenance and establishment of strong vendor relationships. You will provide input and guidance to the outsourced AMS service providers and other key vendors with regards to day to day running, provisioning and support of Energy Australia’s Application landscape ensuring business needs are met. Responsibilities include:
Implementing, configuring and supporting applications ensuring application availability, performance, reliability, maintainability, serviceability and capacity are provided in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
Resolving all incidents and requests in line with SLAs and undertaking problem management, working closely with the end user
Assist with development of an application consolidation strategy and plan to simplify the EA application landscape
Maintaining documentation of all application and integration components for support purposes in accordance with required standards
Work closely with internal EA stakeholders, predominantly On-Site employees.
Support System Administration functions for several key large business systems

To be successful in securing this role you will be an experience within Application Support and integration within a large corporate environment. Additionally, you will have some of the following:
Tertiary qualification in ICT or similar field or comparative years of experience working with Application Support
ITIL or COBIT Foundation certificate or equivalent experience in Incident & Problem management
Azure/AWS Foundation certification (not mandatory)
Vendor management experience and/or good communication skills
Experience working with Maximo and/or Ellipse asset management systems
Exposure to energy industry or similar large, complex industrial environments
