The Infrastructure & Research Portfolio team, in the Infrastructure & Research Unit provides ongoing management and support for the University’s Research data storage management focused applications. This team supports the Research Services Office ensure that the Research applications maintain a high level of availability and are appropriately upgraded and integrated with other applications. This team also provides strategic and technical advice as well as implementation services when new applications are acquired by the University.
Position Description
The core responsibility for the Applications Support Analyst – Research is to administer, maintain and support the Universities Research data storage management focused applications in consultation with business owners, application suppliers, consultants, and technical support staff.
Additionally, this role will analyse and examine new ideas and initiatives relating to the improvement of research business processes and develop requirements documentation to assist the creation and execution of associated projects.
