Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Application Support Team Lead, this role undertakes Application Support and administration for business systems, including technical support and maintenance. These systems include complex business critical in-house developed systems; SaaS applications on MS Azure and SharePoint platforms and commercially available enterprise systems such as HP Content Manager (TRIM), HP ALM, JIRA/Confluence, and others.
This role will be required to communicate with users, vendors and other stakeholders from technical and non-technical background to troubleshoot and offer expertise in Application Support.
Essential Requirements
- ITIL V3 or V4 certification or equivalent skills and experience
- Experience managing and providing Level 2/3 systems administration support across a broad range of complex business systems
- Demonstrated recent experience in MS SQL Server and/or Oracle databases as well as IIS.
- High level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise system support documentation and technical documentation
- Experience using Azure technologies is highly desirable.
