What You Do
Being a member of a major global organization, the Support Engineer is tasked with acting as a technical resource to help our clients resolve pressing issues. Our daily efforts in Support Engineering are focused on the client and their positive experience. The efficiency of our Support Engineers directly impacts Client's health as well as the success of our clients.
The Support Engineer in this role responds to technical concerns, issues and questions from customers who require help understanding or addressing unexpected behaviors, or in locating technical solutions relevant to the client's platform and apps. Also, the Technical Support Engineer will be tasked to do the following:
- Provide technical support round the clock. Support Centers are in Australia, India, Ireland, Japan, Netherlands, UK ans US.
- Resolve customer issues and provide technical guidance in addressing their business needs.
- Be the voice of the customer into client's product and development teams for product feedback and improvements.
- Play an integral role in building knowledge and be part of strategic initiatives for process improvements.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or related technical degree) or 2+ years of related experience within technical
- Must have experience implementing, maintaining or supporting one (or more) of the following:
- LDAP/Active Directory, SSO or other authentication or user management systems (e.g. Azure AD, Okta. SAML, SiteMinder)
- Web Services (consuming or providing) (SOAP, REST)
- Any bi-directional, automated integration between two systems
- Data Extraction Technologies (e.g. JDBC, ODBC) or ETL integrations
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle).
- Experience using Linux/Unix OR Microsoft Server
- Ability to troubleshoot difficult technical issues with ease and complexity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate solutions to complex technical problems
- Strong personal commitment to quality and customer service
