About the role

As Applications and Analytics Lead your focus will be on leading your team to drive operational efficiencies while maintaining the reliability and effectiveness of council's business solutions and intelligence. You will be part of the ICT Digital Services team managing and coordinating major ICT business solutions including enterprise business applications, business intelligence platforms, process and data automation, and in-house AI solution development.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Drive the implementation of process and data automation, enhancing operational efficiencies across council

  • Lead the development of in-house AI solutions, ensuring they are tailored to enhance business operations and decision-making

  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team, fostering cross-skilling and creative solution development

  • Transform business needs into in-application configurations or integrated solutions tailored to challenges

  • Manage stakeholder engagement to gather requirements, deliver updates, and ensure satisfaction with the digital solutions provided

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Possession of graduate or post-graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline

  • Strong understanding of enterprise business applications, business intelligence and analytics platforms and process automation and the ability to guide a team in utilising these tools effectively

  • Stakeholder engagement and communication skills

  • Awareness of strategies to liaise with business units, ensuring the alignment of digital solution objectives with broader organisational goals

  • Belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership

About the benefits

This is full time position, Level 8 with a salary commencing at $121,294 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
