As an Application Engineer, you will provide technical support and application assistance to our Field Sales Engineers, Internal Support Teams and customers throughout South East Australia.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities will be:
- Work closely with all internal and external partners to resolve technical customer related issues in a timely fashion as required.
- Develop into a Trusted Advisor for Customers and Internal Stakeholders.
- Identify technical gaps across the team that require development and work with the Business Development Leaders to tackle the gap.
- Provide consultative technical advice on product suitability for customer’s applications via video, phone, email or face to face.
- Utilization of CRMOD for escalation of tasks to Factory representatives on complex applications.
- To investigate additional sales opportunities with customers using HDS, Digital Transformation platforms and other initiative programs.
- Delivery and support of training sessions as required.
- Work with customers and Field Sales Engineers to arrange regular customer site / Face to Face meetings focusing on difficult industry applications.
- Raise any customer order concerns to Customer Liaison Specialist
- Ensure customer non-compliance concerns and complaints are reported and escalated via ANZ Quality process
- Mentor and assist our MANZAT team with respect to communication of both technical and commercial requirements.
- Development of Customer Agreements focusing on Model Standardization and suitability for driven displacement programs.
- Engage in critical quotations and pursuits as required

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Degree qualified in an Engineering or Science related discipline.
- Process control instrumentation, process industry, and project execution Experience
- Deep Understanding of Process Industry Applications
- Well refined communication skills and an ability to impart understanding of complex technical concepts via telephone, e-mail, webinars, presentations or in person.
