ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated first or second yearApprentice Chef to join our fast-paced Kitchen Operations team in a full-time capacity.
Reporting to the nominated Sous Chef, you will be required to assist with the day to day tasks of running of our busy kitchen operations. You will be responsible for food preparation that consistently meets the expectations of QPAC’s high number of patrons, while maintaining hygienic standards and practices across our multiple outlets.
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role, you will be self-motivated, responsible and have exceptionally high standards in striving for quality and consistency. You will also possess:
- Excellent communication skills.
- An understanding of and commitment to maintaining food safety standards.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- An eye for detail and presentation.
- Passion for producing exciting and high-quality food and a willingness to learn and adapt in a team environment.
While late night shifts will be minimal, availability is required across a seven-day roster for day, evening and weekend shifts to meet operational demands. Full-time Apprentice Chefs are required to work a total of 38 ordinary hours per week.
In return for your commitment, we will provide the opportunity to develop your skills within a friendly and professional environment and assist with all necessary TAFE requirements to complete your apprenticeship.
