The Weld Club is seeking a Full time Apprentice chef to join our kitchen team. Located adjacent to Perth’s Elizabeth Quay, is a prestigious private club offering two dining rooms, functions and accommodation.
We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic individual looking to continue and complete their chef apprenticeship.
The successful candidate will be trained in aspects of the kitchen operation, including; preparing and cooking for A la Carte, breakfast Lunch and Dinner, buffet service and functions on cold larder, pastry and hot section.
Key requirements for the position include:
- Started a chef apprenticeship and in their 2nd or 3rd year
- Currently enrolled at TAFE or completed TAFE would be an advantage
- A passion for creating premium quality food
- Function and A la carte experience an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive Attitude & professional manner
- Ability to work unsupervised
The position will provide the opportunity to train and work in one of Australia’s leading clubs, working with quality produce, preparing a very high standard of food in a professional, stable working environment.
This is a full time apprentice position and does not suit working-holiday visa holders and individuals requiring sponsorship.
