SalaryRydges Kalgoorlie is seeking an Apprentice Chef to kickstart their career and become an integral part of our kitchen operations. This position would suit someone who is driven, eager to learn and loves all things food!
Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of hospitality to ensure a memorable Rydges Kalgoorlie experience for all our guests. Get your Chef career off to the best start with a National Brand and a skilled, supportive team to mentor and guide you.
The successful applicant will be employed for the below responsibilities:
- Preparing meats, vegetables, dairy and all produce as directed
- Keeping the kitchen and dish area clean and maintained
- Dishwashing
- Following recipes as directed
- Contribute to success of Restaurant operations
- Adhering to HACCP workplace requirements
- Work alongside varying skilled team members
- Work in all sections of kitchen - larder, grill, pans, pizza, pastry, breakfast
- Enrolment in TAFE to complete Cert III in Commercial Cookery

- Practice OHS on daily basis
- Ability to obtain a Police Clearance
