C&K Banyo Station Childcare Centre, located on Tufnell Road, less than 200m from Banyo train station. Our philosophy for this age group is to “slow down” and be in the moment with your child to allow them the opportunity to learn and discover at their own pace. We are focused on spending one-on-one time with babies and toddlers and developing deep and trusting relationships with each individual child.
 
Our service offers stimulating indoor and outdoor environments that offer a range of opportunities for children to learn through play. Our outdoor environment provides children with a welcoming green space that features two large shade trees and garden beds with a variety of plants.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Lead Educator to join the Centre. This position is for a 24-month fixed term contract, with a possibility of extension, working 40 hours per week, with a monthly rostered day off.

Ideal candidates will hold:

• Hold a completed Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care or related qualification.
• Prior experience within Early Childhood Education across all age groups within a childcare setting
• Ability to commit to and complete a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care through C&K College of Early Childhood for the duration of the contract
• Possess an enthusiastic attitude towards the care and education of young children

C&K College of Early Childhood is a Nationally Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering training to early childhood educators and carers since 1998. Via this apprenticeship pathway, our aim is to deliver quality education and training by providing work-based mentoring, tailor-made tutorial sessions delivered by experienced trainers and assessors and access to Development resources and C&K policies and procedures
