This role will works within the Army Aviation Systems Branch (AASB) Organisational Development (OD) team. The role specifically provides support in areas of workforce administration and business operations administration. This role will work as part of a small OD team to support the end-to-end process for APS Recruitment administration. This role will be required to work with the Microsoft suite of tools, the role works within numerous Government and Defence electronic business systems, and will be required to work with relevant stakeholders to ensure the efficient processing of APS workforce recruitments. This role is required to carry out grassroots business administration such as filing, drafting correspondence and maintain electronic records.About our Team
Located in Brisbane CBD, as part of Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), the Army Aviation Systems Branch (AASB) Executive and Support team are critical enablers of Defence capability by supporting our Systems Program Offices (SPO) and Project Offices (PO) in their delivery of military aviation systems to the Australian Army. The Executive and Support team have overarching responsibility for Branch Business Management achieved through liaison and coordination with the SPOs and POs, with the goal of continuous improvement to streamline and simplify processes.Specifically, the Executive and Support team are able to achieve its core function and organisational goals, on behalf of the branch, through six key service areas including Quality Management, Security, Work Health and Safety, Workforce Management, Reserve Management and Commercial Support.
