Randstad Darwin is seeking a highly motivated and skilled APS4 Executive Assistant
Role: APS 4 Executive assistant
Salary: $43.82 hour + superannuation
18 Month Contract Full time hours Monday to Friday Darwin based role
Must be an Australian Citizen and be eligible to obtain NDIS workers screening check.
Key Responsibilities
As an APS4 Executive Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative and secretarial support to senior executives. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Calendar Management: Scheduling appointments, meetings, and events for senior executives and staff, ensuring efficient use of their time.
- General Administration Support: Provide high quality, accurate, timely and professional administrative and logistical support to the executives, staff, stakeholders, and clients.
- Travel Coordination: Management of branch finances and travel in line with allocated budgets.
- Document Management: Drafting, editing, and proofreading documents, correspondence, and reports to a high standard.
- Communication: Managing and prioritising emails, phone calls, and other correspondence on behalf of senior executives.
- Meeting Support: Attending meetings, taking accurate minutes, and following up on action items to ensure timely completion.
- Confidentiality: Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information and handling classified materials as required.
- A demonstrated ability to provide high-level executive support,
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal, liaison and representational skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in the use of office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- A high degree of discretion and professionalism.
- Knowledge of government processes and procedures (highly desirable).
- Exposure to High-Level Decision-Making: Work closely with senior executives, gaining insights into strategic decision-making processes and organisational leadership.
- Exposure to Diverse Projects: Participate in diverse projects, providing an opportunity to develop new skills and expertise in different areas.
- In-Depth Understanding of Government Operations: Gain insights into the complexities of the public sector, enhancing knowledge of governmental processes and policies.
- Contributing to Impactful Initiatives: Supporting executives in public-facing projects allows you to contribute to programs with a significant societal impact, making your work meaningful and rewarding.
