The Role
This role will provide internal analysis and reporting in relation to task workflows across the Defence Human Resource Information System team, root cause and trending analysis for Data Quality issues and work with a team preparing artefacts to support Data Quality Reporting. As a newly formed team, this role will have the opportunity to contribute to integration of services and improvement of services to Australian Defence Force personnel.  

This role is also intended to support the workforce as the Unit Security Officer and participate in some direct PMKeyS data remediation tasks and support to tri-service users across Defence. While this role is largely Canberra based there will be opportunity to for work travel around Australia.

About our Team
Chief of Personnel leads the Military Personnel Organisation a part of the Defence People Group.  The newly formed Military Personnel Division is responsible for the delivery of enabling services to Military Personnel managing the career and wellbeing of ADF personnel in all aspects of service life.

The HRIS team within Military Personnel Division is responsible to ensure the Personnel Data within the Core HR tool, PMKeyS, meets Data Quality guidelines and delivers timely, effective support to military users. This Team is split across multiple functions including system sustainment, functional advice and user training, Data Quality and remediation, and future systems.

The key job requirements are an understanding of Defence Personnel Data, data analytics and reporting skills, and a commitment to service delivery to Defence users. Business and data analyst skills will be beneficial to the conduct of the role.

The ideal candidate will be willing to challenge existing processes in a respectful and collaborative way - finding solutions without devaluing existing knowledge and experience.  
The role will be liaising across various stakeholder groups including application users, business process owners and ADF personnel support specialists.
