About the Role:
As an APS5 Level Procurement Officer, you will be an integral part of our Procurement and Corporate Services Branch, supporting various business areas by delivering top-notch corporate, procurement, and property services. You'll be responsible for partnering with different sectors to procure goods and services, ensuring adherence to the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Agency's policies to achieve optimal value for money outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Provide administrative support to the Procurement team, managing sensitive information with confidentiality.
Offer procurement advice and support across the Agency.
Ensure compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs), the Agency's Procurement Policy, and procedures.
Assist in tracking value for money outcomes and preparing comprehensive reports against KPIs.
Prepare various procurement-related documents and draft correspondence and reports.
Handle data entry, extraction, and manipulation for accurate Agency reporting.
Contribute to team and branch planning activities, identifying opportunities for improvement.

About You:
To excel in this role, you will have:
Intermediate proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
Proven experience managing high-volume requests and multitasking effectively.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Desirable: Previous experience with HR and/or Finance business systems.
Desirable: Understanding of procurement or recruitment processes.
Highly desirable: Understanding or lived experience of disability.
