APS 6 Accounts Supervisor

The Role
Do you love all things financial, including financial management and asset management? Are you looking for a long term non-ongoing contract or a S26 transfer and are based in Canberra? If so, then this may be the role for you.
Duties:

• Supervision and leadership of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, ASP Distribution and ASP financial management.
• Ensure effective and efficient processing of the accounts payable and accounts receivable cycle by providing functional, technical and process leadership.
• Supporting the team in preparation of day-to-day finance activities including procurement, travel, credit card, investment, and asset management.
• The preparation of monthly reporting activities including month end journals and reconciliations.
• The preparation of external regulatory and legislative reporting.
• Development and maintenance of relevant policy and task card documentation.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with contractors, consultants, internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide timely and accurate advice and support to staff, management, and stakeholders.
