Join an influential government agency as an APS6 Level Case Management professional, contributing to the effective resolution of AAT applications within our client's business. As a key member of the AAT Case Management Branch, you'll be responsible for leading a team, exercising autonomy, and providing crucial support and advice in a dynamic environment.
This role is located in Deakin ACT.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake end-to-end Case Management activities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Resolve AAT applications related to reviewable decisions in section 100 of the Relevant Act 2013, including the relevant plans and access decisions.
- Analyze complex AAT matters, developing options for early resolution.
- Obtain necessary information and advice for effective resolution.
- Apply alternate dispute resolution methods and advocacy skills in line with model litigant principles.
- Attend Case Conferences, Conciliations, and Hearings conducted by the AAT.
- Prepare detailed documents outlining resolution options and outcomes at Case Management meetings.
- Assess and respond to priorities and risks, considering participant well-being, Scheme sustainability, and client objectives.
- Maintain electronic record-keeping, ensuring transparency in decision-making processes.
