Aps 6 Level Case Management Officer

Join an influential government agency as an APS6 Level Case Management professional, contributing to the effective resolution of AAT applications within our client's business. As a key member of the AAT Case Management Branch, you'll be responsible for leading a team, exercising autonomy, and providing crucial support and advice in a dynamic environment.

This role is located in Deakin ACT.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake end-to-end Case Management activities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
• Resolve AAT applications related to reviewable decisions in section 100 of the Relevant Act 2013, including the relevant plans and access decisions.
• Analyze complex AAT matters, developing options for early resolution.
• Obtain necessary information and advice for effective resolution.
• Apply alternate dispute resolution methods and advocacy skills in line with model litigant principles.
• Attend Case Conferences, Conciliations, and Hearings conducted by the AAT.
• Prepare detailed documents outlining resolution options and outcomes at Case Management meetings.
• Assess and respond to priorities and risks, considering participant well-being, Scheme sustainability, and client objectives.
• Maintain electronic record-keeping, ensuring transparency in decision-making processes.

About You:

• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end Case Management
• Strong knowledge of legislation, policies, and procedures
• Exceptional leadership, planning, and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and advocacy abilities
• Proven experience in risk assessment and prioritisation
• Ability to interpret complex legislation and policy
