Your new role
- Managing and resolving participant matters by actioning planning tasks as per the NDIS Act.
- Providing counter/reception support for the local office including participant enquiries in the self-help kiosks and NDIA online support.
- Resolving customer enquiries, providing information and/or referring customers to appropriate government or community services.
- Managing the team shared email inbox, appointments and telephone enquiries.
- Coordinating appointments with the use of Agency office facilities and ensuring facilities are accessible for participants.
- Undertaking research and investigation activities and preparing associated reports and correspondence.
- Undertaking a range of data entry activities and ensuring follow up is completed.
- Receiving and recording complaints and other feedback in the NDIA Business systems.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience within the Disability or NDIS space is desirable.
- Prioritises and responds to competing and often urgent requests in a professional and efficient manner, while maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
- Communicates messages in a clear, concise and articulate manner tailored to suit the audience, both verbally and in writing.
- Confidently uses, and supports others to use, digital systems and tools such as the Microsoft suite and online collaboration tools.
- Displays discretion and handles confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Comfortable meeting clients face to face.
- Able to work in the office 5 days a week.
- 2 locations available, Bentleigh and Dandenong.
