About the role:
Are you currently looking for a new role within the Federal Government and have an interest in the Financial area? Well, look no further! Our client is currently seeking an APS4 Finance Officer to join their small, supportive and friendly team. As a Finance Officer, you will report to the Senior Finance Officer within the CFO group. The role involves a dynamic range of financial management tasks crucial for maintaining our Federal Government client's financial sustainability. In this role you will be responsible for organising the Coporate Travel and expenses and also imputing data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the finance and travel communications.
- Handle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Provide guidance on corporate card usage.
- Offer support and advice regarding corporate travel.
- Manage passport and visa applications.
- Foster and maintain effective internal relationships.
- Collaborate in a small team environment to provide comprehensive financial services.
- Engage in unique, challenging, and meaningful work within the Australian Public Service.
- Work alongside senior leaders and contribute to national accountability and transparency.
- Thrive in a diverse workplace that values each individual's contribution.
We are seeking candidates who are attentive to detail, quick to adapt to new systems, and excellent at problem-solving. You should be able to work independently, establishing priorities and adhering to procedures, with robust skills in stakeholder engagement.
