The Communications and Engagement Unit is part of the Primary Healthcare, Information Standards & Communications Group. The unit promotes the Institute and its work through Media andSocial Media, stakeholder engagement and internal communications activities; takes a leading role in helping AIHW staff to produce interesting and informative work, and provides leadership in the communication area. The Unit is comprised of four teams – Media, Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Engagement, Authoring Support and Parliamentary. The Communications and Engagement Unit is looking for a Social Media and Communications Officer to work in the media team. The successful candidate may also have the opportunity to gain additional communications and engagement experience by undertaking short rotations through other teams in the unit.
