APS 5 Compliance/Investigations Officers
Join our team as an APS 5 Compliance/Investigations Officer, where you will:
- Execute compliance monitoring and investigative activities to disrupt, prevent, and mitigate fraud against the NDIS.
- Employ investigation and monitoring powers, gathering evidence for the development of briefings recommending administrative and court-based outcomes.
- Collaborate with government agencies and Taskforce partners, sharing information and producing briefing papers to address quality and safeguarding risks arising from fraud and misuse of NDIS plan funds.
- Implement and monitor the impact of regulatory action, including large-scale disruption activities.
- Engage across the NDIS Commission’s functions, identifying cross-functional strategies to address compliance issues.
- Contribute to capability-building activities focused on fraud prevention strategies.
APS 6 Senior Project Officers
Become an APS 6 Senior Project Officer and:
- Contribute to proactive and reactive regulatory activity to promote compliance with the NDIS Act, NDIS Rules, and relevant legislation.
- Conduct research and analysis, contributing to insights and solving systemic regulatory challenges for NDIS participants.
- Support the design and implementation of regulatory campaigns to inform, educate, and influence NDIS providers, workers, and participants.
- Utilize planning methodologies to implement and report against multiple compliance campaigns and projects.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake regulatory compliance actions in response to identified non-compliance and emerging risks.
- Prepare high-quality project reports, briefing papers, and executive correspondence for presentation to senior staff.
APS 6 Senior Compliance/Investigations Officers
Step into the role of APS 6 Senior Compliance/Investigations Officer, where you will:
- Lead compliance approaches and investigations into disability service providers, support workers, and their response to safety, well-being, and support service issues for people with disabilities.
- Conduct compliance monitoring and investigative activities to prevent fraud against the NDIS, with a focus on operational activities and enforcement actions.
- Liaise with government agencies and Taskforce partners, producing briefing papers to address risks from fraud and misuse of NDIS plan funds.
- Conduct quality assessments on briefings and administrative decisions, ensuring the proper use of statutory powers.
- Work with providers and workers to guide them in addressing non-compliance issues and risks.
- Undertake research and analysis for risk-based and proportionate compliance and investigations responses.
- Contribute to compliance promotion and education campaigns to inform providers, participants, and the public.
- Plan and monitor work processes for a small team, directing and coordinating activities.
