My Client, a Federal Government department, is looking to appoint an APS5 Communications Officer to join their busy department.Your new team
The Communications and Engagement Branch provides engagement and communication solutions and advice to support the agency. They lead development and implementation of multi-channel engagement and communication strategies to support key initiatives across the Department and drive engagement with key internal and external audiences.
Your new role
As an APS5 Communications Officer, you will be responsible for providing communication solutions to support this Federal Government department. You will be a key contributor to the development and implementation of multi-channel strategies, supporting key initiatives to drive engagement with multiple key stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for these roles, you will have:
- Supporting to drive behavioural change through targeted Communications and Engagement activities
- Supporting the development and delivery of communications and engagement plans, producing accessible and Plain English content for a variety of channels (e.g. website, Ministerial and Executive Briefings, social media and other communication platforms)
- Developing and delivering best practice communication and engagement to staff with measurable impact
- Demonstrated capabilities producing reports and forecasting utilising data to assist stakeholders in making informed decisions
- Demonstrated experience in change management utilising project management methodologies
- Developing a range of internal and external accessible communication material including key message packs, articles, documents, web content, PowerPoint presentations and leadership
- Exceptional verbal and written capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with limited direction and with competing deadlines
- Please note, you must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible for this role.
