ONI is recruiting for a number of HR Officers and Advisors for Learning and Development.

The key duties of the position include
These roles involve the operational implementation of human resource strategies relating to a diverse range of human resource and industrial relations functions.
As a HR Officer you will be part of the Human Resources Branch and may assist in developing and implementing HR initiatives, strategies and process improvements, across a range of HR functions. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, to deliver outcomes, provide best practice advice underpinned by research, support service providers for an improved employee experience, and assist in the day-to-day operations of the team.
As a HR Officer or Advisor in Learning and Development, you may:
- Manage and administer participant course enrolments and processes and provide advise to improve business practices
- Coordinate the logistics and provide administrative support to the delivery of training, including venue hire, equipment set up, and catering arrangements
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including the learning management system provider to improve the user experience
- Liaising with L&D areas across the National Intelligence Community (NIC) to provide advice on courses
- Assist with strategic planning and day-to-day operations including procurement and contract management of training services, course management, learning management system, and marketing and promotion
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
- Experience in one or more HR functions. For example, payroll, recruitment, HR strategy, learning & development, workforce analytics or business partnering.
- Adaptability and flexibility to accommodate changing demands and provide responsive services to meet client' needs, bringing a 'solutions' focus to moderately complex people problems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- A continuous improvement mindset in everything you do.
