SalaryOur client is a large Government agency tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. They are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join their busy team for a 12-month temporary assignment.
About the role
- Providing procurement advice and support to the broader Agency in compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Guidelines
- Procurement documentation including tenders and negotiating contracts
- Procurement reporting and analysis
- Stakeholder engagement - both internal and external
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Previous Procurement experience, preferably in a Government Agency or Department
- Ability to understand and apply company policy and procedures
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including stakeholder engagement
- Immediate start pending clearances
- 12-month temporary assignment
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- $60.26 per hour + super
- Brisbane CBD + hybrid working from home set up
