The Opportunity
Under the guidance of the Program Manager (Assistant Director) Communications Platforms, Discovery, and Design, and working closely with the Website Product Owner, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the SharePoint environment, with a particular reference to its internal communication platform and intranet product, ensuring end product is fit-for-purpose and meets the needs of end users.
Key Responsibilities

• provide and lead technical governance, and security and information architecture over SharePoint environments and Intranet products
• lead intranet design governance to support internal business communications initiatives
• develop product functional and technical system documentation based on business requirements
• manage and maintain SharePoint system environments and environment administration

• front-end components: webparts, page design and document libraries, to extend SharePoint system/environment capabilities
• backend components: site/page permissions, term store and metadata management, to extend SharePoint system/environment capabilities
• create and maintain SharePoint supported components and interfaces to improve the functionality and usability of the SharePoint environment

All candidates applying for this position must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to obtain or hold a current Baseline Security Clearance.
To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, support the management of change, and inspire a sense of purpose and direction consistent with the client's values
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development of technical strategies, build actionable plans and execute on those plans
• Experience in a SharePoint administrative role (SharePoint online).
