The Opportunity
Under the guidance of the Program Manager (Assistant Director) Communications Platforms, Discovery, and Design, and working closely with the Website Product Owner, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the SharePoint environment, with a particular reference to its internal communication platform and intranet product, ensuring end product is fit-for-purpose and meets the needs of end users.
Key Responsibilities
- provide and lead technical governance, and security and information architecture over SharePoint environments and Intranet products
- lead intranet design governance to support internal business communications initiatives
- develop product functional and technical system documentation based on business requirements
- manage and maintain SharePoint system environments and environment administration
- front-end components: webparts, page design and document libraries, to extend SharePoint system/environment capabilities
- backend components: site/page permissions, term store and metadata management, to extend SharePoint system/environment capabilities
- create and maintain SharePoint supported components and interfaces to improve the functionality and usability of the SharePoint environment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, support the management of change, and inspire a sense of purpose and direction consistent with the client's values
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development of technical strategies, build actionable plans and execute on those plans
- Experience in a SharePoint administrative role (SharePoint online).
