AddressOn behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for an APS6 Risk Advisor. This is a 12-month assignment based in Richmond or Geelong. The role will work a hybrid arrangement, Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day and will be paying $60.26 per hour plus super.
You will support Service Delivery and its leadership team to proactively manage operational and strategic risks, obligations and audit issues.
Responsibilities include;
- Assisting with facilitating risk discussions and reviews with risk owners, applying the Risk Management Framework.
- Analysing trends in mitigating risks, minimising potential exposure and harness opportunities.
- Assisting with delivery of risk management training and education programs, building risk management knowledge, skills and tools across all work areas.
- Maintaining relationships with other risk and assurance teams within the agency, ensuring appropriate management of shared risks and issues.
- Providing input into the preparation of risk reporting to Service Delivery stakeholders.
- Providing administrative support of the Integrated Risk Management System (IRMS) used to manage risks, incidents and issues.
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Strong risk management skills and experience
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement/management skills
- Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail
- Experience within Project Management would be advantageous
- MS Office skills including SharePoint and MS Excel
