The Property Services and Logistics Team within the Chief Financial Officer Branch is looking for an APS6 Senior Property Officer to deliver support across a range of corporate governance, policy and administrative activities.About the TeamThe Property Services and Logistics Team within the Chief Financial Officer Branch is responsible for creating a safe and practical working environment for Treasury employees, providing a centre of expertise for property management. The team delivers support across a range of corporate governance, policy and administrative activities. Property services provided to the Treasury include:
- Property management
- Property services related procurement and contracts;
- Coordinate accommodation minor works;
- Delivery of new office fit-outs;
- Facilities management;
- Provision of office furniture, equipment and office consumables; and
- Oversee the management of the mail and freight handling services.
- High-level client services and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to building relationships, particularly with internal stakeholders and outsourced providers.
- Oversee a team delivering in house property services such as mail, meeting room set ups, pool vehicle management and logistical services.
- Manage sub-contractors and the outsourced services provider contract, including performance management against KPIs and service level standards.
- Manage facilities requests logged with the property services providers helpdesk and follow up through to completion
- Provide technical knowledge in specialist areas of property and facilities management functions and an ability to provide technical advice to the Assistant Director.
- Provide input to strategic direction for operational delivery of facilities services and ability to develop and maintain asset/facilities management plans and programs.
- Management of major and minor assigned property fit-out projects under the direction of an Assistant Director.
- Oversee procurement processes to engage contractors to deliver fit out works, ensuring compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
- Other tasks as directed.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience managing property preferably within the Australian Government; or
- Demonstrated experience in at least one property-related discipline as outlined above.
