ACTPG are looking for highly motivated and energetic individuals to fill two Senior Project Officer vacancies with extensive experience in delivering a range of property maintenance and/or property upgrade services.
ACTPG are expecting to fill these two positions with individuals who hold extensive project management experience and ideally hold a relevant trade or professional qualification to compliment a clear understanding of the building and construction industry and property maintenance and upgrades services.
ACT Property Group provides expert property management and maintenance services to the ACT Government and the community. The Group manages and maintains buildings and property that enable the ACT Government to deliver Government and community services. The group supports the ACT Governments delivery of its services through flexible, efficient and cost-effective accommodation solutions and property services.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
- Hold a relevant professional qualification and experience in Engineering, Architecture or Project Management, or accreditation with a professional body recognised within Australia, or
- Hold significant building and/or infrastructure knowledge and/or project management experience.
- Hold a relevant trade certificate and experience as per the advertised vacancy, or
- Hold a relevant building or engineering degree with extensive experience as per the advertised vacancy.
In addition, applicants must:
- Hold or have the capacity to obtain White Card and Asbestos Awareness.
- Hold or have the capacity to obtain Work Health and Safety qualifications (Certificate IV).
- Hold a current driver’s licence (car).
Membership of a relevant professional association and qualification/s in Procurement, Contract Management or Work Health and Safety are highly desirable.
Note: Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.This position is based in an activity-based working (ABW) environment. Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
