The Role:
This is an APS6/EL1 Project Finance Officer role available via a 12 Months non-ongoing contract. You’ll be working in the CFO unit and supporting the project side of the department.
There is one major project that you’ll be primarily supporting – it involves the digitisation and modernisation of their international operations. It’s key to the future of the department. The project has already been established and you’ll be working closely with the PM to assist it’s successful continuation.
The role is liaison driven and you will be helping the project area to effectively manage their budget, forecasting, providing management reporting and support the EOM reporting.
It’s a busy role but balance is still achievable. Their FMIS is Technology One and TM1 is used for their reporting.

Your Skills and Experience:
You are an experienced management accountant or Project Finance Officer with great communication skills. You will need to be able to work independently and have confidence in your ability to liaise with non-accountants and project managers at a senior level.
You must be an Australian Citizen, preferably with a Baseline Clearance to be able to start in this role. They will consider sponsoring a clearance for strong candidates.
