Camberwell Grammar School is an independent Anglican day school for boys from Pre-Preparatory to Year 12. ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate and driven Aquatic Program Officer, to oversee the day-to-day operations of Camberwell Grammar Aquatic (CGA) and manage front line enquiries.
As an integral part of Camberwell Grammar School (CGS), this role requires a comprehensive understanding of all programs facilitated within the Centre, including CGA, Swimming Club, CGS Sport, and internal and external curriculum programs.
You will be responsible for managing front line operations of the Aquatic facility, delivering high quality customer service and fostering a positive, experience for our staff, students and families.
Proven experience in Aquatics facility operations, coupled with a solid understanding of recreation industry programs and services is essential.
This is a full time permanent ongoing role, commencing in June 2024, with the potential option of part time hours for the successful candidate. Candidates must be available to work on Saturday mornings.

- Outstanding customer service, to ensure a positive experience for all users.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, when interacting with staff, students and parents / guardians.
- Ability to administer first aid and provide leadership during an emergency.
- Maintain attention to detail while working in a fast paced environment.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and adaptability to new software systems.
- Thorough understanding of Envibe and experience with bookings and course management software.
- Demonstrated experience in the Aquatics industry, adhering to best practices and safety protocols.
- Strong work ethic and dedication to the role.
- Friendly and helpful demeanour, with a proactive approach to learning.
Qualifications:
- Level 2 First Aid and CPR qualification
- Working with Children Check
- National Crime Check
- Pool Lifeguard (SISSS00133 or equivalent) (highly regarded)
- Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (TSW) (highly regarded)
