Your new company
Based in a modern office in the heart of Melbourne CBD, this government department is seeking to expand its administration team on a temporary basis. The role of this department is to support Victorians to build prosperous, socially engaged, healthy and happy lives.
Your new role
The temporary role encompasses administrative support, overseeing office services, managing correspondence and records, utilising Ariba, Oracle, and SharePoint, and adhering to administrative procedures and protocols. The successful candidate will provide high-level assistance to the team, including supporting the governance secretariat. Some of your duties may include:
- Correspondence management
- Data and information management
- Meeting and event coordinations
- Project support
- Stakeholder engagement
This role is expected to be 2 months.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role must demonstrate strong organisational skills, foster and nurture robust relationships to balance competing demands, achieve desired outcomes promptly, exhibit effective communication abilities, and efficiently solve problems. Some of the experience required includes:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Advanced computer skills (Sharepoint and oracle exp required)
- Excellent organisational skills and time-management
