Aquatics Manager - Cisac Act

Viva Leisure parent company to Club Lime one of Australia’s leading fitness companies are looking for a new Aquatics Manager to join our CISAC Aquatics team.

The Aquatics Manager position is instrumental in the optimal operation of the Aquatics division and is responsible for the maintenance of service and operational excellence.

Reporting to the Facility Manager, the Aquatics Manager is tasked with the management of staff, patrons, stakeholders, and equipment within the Aquatic area of the facility. This role is a leader in the space and has endless opportunities to develop and grow a well-established department.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for an individual who has a passion for water safety and is invested in making a positive contribution to the aquatics industry. The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience in Aquatic Duty Manager or higher duties
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills
• Experience in effectively managing priorities for themselves and other staff
• Current Pool Lifeguard License
• Current CPR & First Aid
• Current WWVP
• Pool Plant Operators Certificate
• RLSSA Workplace Supervisor – Pool Lifeguard
• RLSSA Workplace Supervisor - Technical Operations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all aspects of the Aquatic environment, whether plant or facility, are maintained to a safe and operational standard and are widely available to members, guests and stakeholders.
• Ensure the facilities are adequately staffed in accordance with RLSS Guidelines, SOP’s and any other relevant regulations.
• Support in the delivery of Aquatics Programs alongside the Facility Manger and Swim School Facility Coordinator.
• Identify, develop and maintain a strong team of Duty Managers to ensure the facility has adequate onsite support outside of normal business hours.
• Review and champion all Viva Aquatic Policy and Procedure as required, not limited to the annual audit, alongside the Viva Aquatic Safety Committee.
• Quarterly review and assisted delivery of compulsory in-service training sessions, and records, in accordance with Viva Leisure, and RLSS guidelines.
