- Salary range from $55,673 up to $66,690 p.a. + super (dependent on qualifications)

The Role
The role covers all aspects of tree work including:
- Assisting in the care and maintenance of the City of Ballarat’s unique urban forest
- Working as part of a highly skilled and supportive team
- Assisting in the delivery of best industry practice on behalf of the Ballarat community
- Assisting in extreme weather and emergency situations
- Maintaining a safe workplace at all times
- Deliver good customer service to the Ballarat community
Licences and Qualifications required
- Completion of Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent, or substantial industry experience.
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence with MR truck endorsement
- Formal qualifications in arboriculture/horticulture or equivalent experience
- Chainsaw Level 2 Certificate
- Elevating Work Platform High Risk Licence
- Cert II ESI Powerline Vegetation Control (UET20312)
- Traffic management & traffic controller certificate
- First Aid Level 2 Certificate
- Demonstrated ability in tree assessment and the use of a range of arboriculture machinery and vehicular plant
