Architectural Draftsperson - Nsw

RASP AUSTRALIA are in search of Architectural Draftspersons with proven experience in Commercial, Retail, Industrial or Architectural spaces to join our team. We have two offices: Our main office in Perth, WA, and our subsidiary office in Melbourne, VIC, and due to rapid growth & demand are looking to set up an NSW based office. This position will likely operate from a co-working space for the first 3 months while we look to recruit the “Dream Team” in NSW.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Revit and having worked on projects within the supermarket space will be highly advantageous. RASP Australia offers a unique 3D Experience to our clients, capturing spaces using Matterport Technology. This immersive and interactive experience can be used for documentation and management. Including tools such as measurements and the ability to export to CAD / BIM programs such as AutoCAD & Revit.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Create and maintain accurate drawings using Revit
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure project accuracy and adherence to specifications
• Ensure timely delivery of project documentation
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Revit Draftsperson in commercial buildings and / Or industrial space.
• Strong knowledge of Revit software and BIM processes
• Proven ability to produce detailed industrial drawings
• Knowledge of NC Codes (National Construction Codes) and AS Standards
• Basic knowledge in council requirements / R Codes
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication / teamwork skills
• The ability & willingness to travel through NSW & interstate on short 1–3-day trips to complete on-site visits for our clients.
• Knowledge of how Matterport works or the willingness to learn.

CERTIFICATES/TICKETS REQUIRED

• Diploma in Building Design (Minimum Requirement)
• Experience using a Matterport scanner (Advantageous)
• Master of Architecture (Advantageous)
