Area Lead - Infrastructure

Randstad are proud to partner with a global leader in the resources sector, and offer an opportunity to join our clients team as a Area Lead - Infrastructure. This role will be offered as a 12-Month contract, based out of the Adelaide head office. Applications are now open for this role, with interviews taking place in the coming weeks.
Position Purpose:
In the Area Lead - Infrastructure role you will have a unique opportunity to help initiate and run an exciting project, relating to the increase of ore and concentration at one of our clients biggest assets. You will support the strategic planning and studies team to increase ore and processing capabilities.
In this role you will take part in:

• Supporting other Area Leads and maintains a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Prepare study management documentation, including study work plans.
• Manage all aspects of the infrastructure scope to be delivered to various teams.
• Manage the on time delivery of all scope and strategy from the studies team.
• Lead and communicate the infrastructure strategy.
• Help stand up the chosen ESP that will complete the processing scope within the scope of services.
• Be the main interface and study representative between our client and the chosen contractors and stakeholders.
• Coordination of study phase activities, reporting and interfaces across multiple functions and departments.
• Collaborate with functional teams for timely completion of Mining, NPI or Surface Processing study phase deliverables.
• Develop and maintain study phase routines for monitoring and reporting of performance metrics including cost, schedule, risk and field leadership activities
• Lead and manage the implementation of risk and quality management plans in the studies, to ensure effective management of the program’s engineering scope of work

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

• Mining infrastructure experience and technical knowledge.
• Experience in the early phase conceptual studies.
• Previous experience with project management and mining infrastructure.
• Strong written and presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences, including senior executives.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
