About the role
With a focus on the delivery of high quality services, and meeting the specific needs of clients in a timely and cost effective manner, this role heads up the teams interfacing directly with clients and providers. The role has significant responsibility to contract/relationship management in the engagement with local health districts and referring hospitals as well as leading a team of highly skilled Care Managers, supporting clients as they navigate the out of hospital care program, in areas such as end of life care, dementia care, social support. This role is highly agile, with time spent out in the field, visiting local health care providers, hospitals etc, and allows for a hybrid week, with two days spent at the state-of-the-art offices in Bella Vista and three days remote working.
About you
As a highly skilled and experienced Clinician with a wealth of staff management experience to draw upon, you will have a solid understating of the Aged Care Sector, standards and legislative framework and experience working with government funding models. You possess strong financial acumen and have demonstrated experience managing an operational budget/cost centre. As a large part of this role is building rapport, credibility and trust, you have strong relationship building skills with both internal and external parties, and are responsive and professional in your communication. You have a client centric focus, and a high level of personal integrity and authenticity. For consideration for this role, you will need to hold appropriate tertiary qualifications in Social work, Sciences, Health (Nursing/Allied Health), Business or related studies and have at least seven years of experience in the aged care sector.
