Pizza Hut is seeking a passionate and driven Area Operations Manager to join our Operations team on a Permanent, full time basis. The role is based in QLD and supports stores within this region.

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will provide support and leadership to franchise stores, ensuring that the brand promise is delivered consistently in market and the team is aligned to the brand promise in every store. The position will role model and align priorities, inspire morale and drive accountability in store teams.
What you'll do…- Lead and inspire a network of franchisees to build and maintain profitable operations and execute 100% guest experience.
- Track and monitor store performance using a wide range of performance metrics and benchmark tools to assess Bench Plans, Speed of Service, Daily Sales, and monthly P&L accounts.
- Complete regular store visits (estimate of 10 per week) and provide detailed feedback to the Regional Operations Manager.
- Own and assess talent across all levels within the market using various tools such as 360-degree feedback, development plans, KPIs etc.
- Provide coaching, motivation, supervision, and direction to franchisees.
- Lead the store teams to deliver the desired customer experience in every shift and every transaction.
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of all the products on the menu, their components and the defined quality parameters.
- Identify critical parameters which impact quality and devise ways to partner with Regional Managers and Restaurant Managers to find solutions.
- Monitor and manage operational adherence to food safety, operational standards, restaurant safety and fire safety standards for all the stores in the area.
- Complete store action plans for guest experience improvement – utilise store observations, GES results, KPI performance and customer comments.
- Previous relevant and extensive experience in a similar role, in a fast-paced multi-site retail, hospitality or similar service driven business.
- Experience in Consulting/Business Partnering and driving strategic plans in a commercial context.
- Knowledge of and adherence to licenses, legal compliance including NSF, labor legislation and others.
- Solid understanding of Food Safety, FSSAI guidelines, operational standards, and restaurant WH&S
- Strong decision-making skills, ability to think independently and work autonomously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to engage, lead and motivate employees.
- Hold a valid unrestricted drivers license and well maintained and roadworthy vehicle.
