About the Role
Your role as Area Sales Manager for Central & Western Region (SA/WA) is to ensure that set targets & KPI’s are achieved through your selected Dealer zones, by making use of automotive industry knowledge. You will build strong relationships through communication and empathy and bring value into the Dealership network. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain a highly motivated Dealer network, capable of achieving all sales objectives as set by Chery.
Job tasks and responsibilities
· Maintain effective communication and Dealer relationships through consistent Dealer visits, ensuring all dealers are well informed & across all corporate activities and programs
· Ensure that set targets are achieved on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, including operational KPI’s targets
· Support the Dealership in the development & execution of plans to manage stock, sales & marketing activities & showroom displays
· Identify key events in their local area, to attend and promote the Dealership / Chery brand
· Train, motivate & support Dealership team members to exceed set targets 7 objectives
· Ensure stock is monitored & managed in line with CMA expectations
· Ensure Dealer standards are achieved & maintained in line with the terms and conditions of the Dealer agreement, and is being met as per the guideline provided by CMA
To be successful you need
We are searching for driven individuals, with a passion for the automotive industry. You will strive to achieve results whilst developing a disciplined & structured process.
· 5+ years relevant experience in a similar Automotive industry role
· Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills
· Strong customer service skills
· Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CRM etc
· An analytical approach and result-oriented with a desire for career growth.
