The Opportunity
Based in Campbelltown, we are seeking an experienced capital equipment salesperson who has a good understanding of the transportation and agricultural industries. You will have trade technical experience, as well as the ability to grow and build existing relationship as well as farm new ones.
This role will be challenging, the industry is an evolving one that enables outside the square thinking in the way we do business and support our clients. But for those up to it, a role with MaxiTRANS will also be fulfilling role with the supporting relationships you create from within and externally. You will be under pressure at times, but how you handle it will set you up for the future and the rewards will follow. We will also consider a Trainee for this role someone who is keen to learn and build a career apply now!
Key Responsibilities
- Cold calling on potential business and creating pipelines of potential clients and converting these pipelines into sales
- Maintaining existing client relationships and growing these relationships
- Participating in sales and marketing activities and meetings.
- Providing solutions to a broad range customer base
- Driving revenue growth and adoption of new technologies to enhance sales
- Reporting - develop & maintain a weekly & monthly reporting suite to track & monitor performance
About You
- Demonstrated a track record in developing new business, with the ability to maintain new and existing relationships
- Possess an understanding of the trailer and spare parts industry
- Demonstrated ability in business planning and reporting to ensure the achievement of business metrics;
- Excellent customer service and ability to manage customer relationships
- Able to work autonomously, under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Understanding sales budgets and their fit within the business operations
