About the Role:

The position is based on site at the bank in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. The role is an Armed Security Officer, primarily responsibility for the safety and protection of personnel who work at the Bank, as well as protection of property and information, whilst remaining alert and focused and providing a visible security presence across the Site. To be eligible for this role, you need to hold a current government issued General category Handgun license or be authorised to obtain one.

The pay rates for this role are covered by the site based EBA.

The successful candidate must be well-presented and available to work a 24/7 rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.

Essential Requirements:

• Hold a Current Victorian Security License
• Current Victorian Firearms License (or eligibility to obtain one)
• At least Certificate III Security Operations
• Current valid Advanced First Aid Certificate
• Current Victorian Drivers' License
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
• Valid Working with Children Check (validity for at least six months)
• White Card

Skills and Experience:

• At least one year of experience as a Security Officer.
• Excellent personal presentation and customer service skills
• Moderate computer skills
• Possess a high level of integrity and work ethic
• Be flexible with working hours
