Art / Picture Framing Consultant

Gallery 360, WA's leading provider of art and Picture Framing solutions, is seeking a creative sales person with excellent digital skills and a well developed sense of style and colour, to join our creative team and help our business growth.

Helping clients choose art, prints and framing, this is an exciting opportunity for someone keen to assist clients create memorable projects.

You will learn all aspects of custom picture frame design, printing and art.
You will liaise with  a range of professional artists represented by the gallery. 

We celebrate our 47th year in 2024.

In this role you will

• Advise clients on creative Picture Framing deigne solutions for their interior spaces.
• Use framing software to prepare quotes for clients.
• Follow up client projects and communicate progress with clients.
• Promote an exciting range of leading and emerging West Australian artists.
• Work on the company's social media pages.
• Be motivated to learn a great deal of information regarding the art and science of Picture Framing.
• Use Photo Shop to review client's photos and prints.
• Assist production team as business requires.
• Need to work to meet deadlines.

Skills Required

• MUST HAVE A BACKGROUND IN VISUAL ARTS OR INTERIOR DESIGN.
• Delivering exceptional design projects and customer service will be your priority. 
• Must have a good eye for colour in interior design or visual arts.
• Excellent sales and communication skills  and a proactive “can do” work ethic required.
• Outstanding organisation and time management skills essential. Ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritise and co-ordinate client projects to completion, meeting deadlines.
• Good numeracy skills.
• Good Photo Shop and Adobe suite skills required.
• Leadership skills highly regarded.

Particulars

• Full-time position(38 hours per week.) and new part-time position available . Must be able to work some Saturdays.
• Opportunity for further study in digital fine art printing  and Picture Framing to gain qualifications in these fields.
• Long term role - not suited to candidates seeking short term work.
• On-site car parking included.
• Must be able to lift and carry artworks.
